Alltel Corp. wireless customers who just can’t get enough of personalizing their wireless phones now have a new option: ringback tones. Ringback tones enables customers to choose a song or sound that callers will hear while waiting to be connected to the customer. Alltel’s ringback tone service cost $1 per month which includes one complimentary ringback tone. Any additional tones must be purchased. The ringback tones are integrated with Alltel’s current content offerings from Motricity in the same storefront. To get more ringback tones try a service like Jamster.
Motricity's Fuel technology platform allows Alltel customers to buy ringback tones from the internet, SMS and WAP. Ringback tones are now integrated with the current Storefront that Motricity already provides for Alltel Wireless - allowing customers to buy ringtones, graphics and now ringback tones from a central source.
